About this opportunity

Established in 1999 by William E. Townsend, BA '50, this scholarship is awarded to worthy students pursuing their studies in the Photography Program in the Department of Art at the University at Buffalo. Applicants must submit a portfolio of their work for review by Department of Art Faculty. Preference is given to Western New York students and those with outstanding personal character. Financial need is considered as part of the selection process, and applicants must complete the FAFSA.
