William H. and Waneta Sedgwick Catey Scholarship

The William H. and Waneta Sedgwick Catey Scholarship supports full-time junior or senior students majoring in Early Childhood, Elementary & Middle Level Education at Eastern Illinois University. Applicants must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and be graduates of Cumberland or Clark County High School, with preference given to graduates of Casey-Westfield High School. The scholarship requires recipients to demonstrate financial need, show evidence of community service and volunteer activities, and be of good moral character as evidenced by a letter of recommendation. The award is designated for tuition expenses and is disbursed in the Fall semester. Recipients may reapply and receive the award again if they continue to meet all eligibility criteria.
