William J. and Mathiel B. Crane Scholarship

The William J. and Mathiel B. Crane Scholarship is awarded to incoming freshmen from Charleston High School who have been accepted to Eastern Illinois University. Recipients must demonstrate financial need and maintain continuous enrollment to receive the award for four consecutive years. The scholarship is intended to support local students from Charleston High School in pursuing their undergraduate education at EIU. Loss of consecutive year status results in forfeiture of the scholarship. This award is announced in the Spring semester and disbursed in the Fall semester.
