William J. Seidler Scholarship

The William J. Seidler Scholarship is awarded to continuing students at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee who are declared Philosophy majors. This need-based scholarship requires recipients to maintain a minimum GPA of 3.25 and demonstrate documented financial need as shown on the FAFSA. The scholarship is offered through the UWM Foundation and is administered by the College of Letters & Science Philosophy Department. It was established by the late William J. Seidler to support students pursuing studies in philosophy who demonstrate both academic excellence and financial need.
