The William Mustard Third Year Prize in Wills and Estate Planning is awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in the third year of a Juris Doctor degree at the University of Alberta Faculty of Law. The prize recognizes superior academic achievement in Faculty of Law courses related to Wills (LAW 582 – Wills and Administration), Estates (LAW 660 – Estate Planning), Taxation (LAW 504 – Taxation), and/or Trusts (LAW 580- Trusts). Selection is based on the highest academic achievement in the course(s) taken. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship portal.
