The William R Scott Memorial Prize in Economic Geology is an annual award established through endowed funds by friends of the late William R Scott. The prize recognizes outstanding academic achievement in the field of Economic Geology. To be awarded annually to an outstanding convocating student on the basis of superior academic achievement in Economic Geology. Students are automatically considered for this prize based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta scholarship system.
