About This Opportunity

The William Reid Scholarship is an annual award offered to continuing undergraduate students at the University of Calgary. Established by Joan Van Housen in memory of her father, William Reid, with additional contributions from family, friends and colleagues on the occasion of Joan's retirement as director of Student Awards and Financial Aid at the University of Calgary. The scholarship is valued at up to $1,400 and is awarded to one student per year based on academic merit. The scholarship is open to continuing undergraduate students in any faculty who are entering their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of study.
