William Rowan Memorial Scholarship

The William Rowan Memorial Scholarship is awarded to students with superior academic achievement enrolled in the fourth year of a Bachelor of Science Honors program at the University of Alberta. Eligible programs include Ecology, Evolution and Environmental Biology; Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology; or Integrative Physiology. The scholarship recognizes academic excellence and outstanding performance in these scientific disciplines. This endowed scholarship was established by friends of the late Dr. Rowan, who was the former Head of the Department. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship portal.
