William S Ziegler Leadership Award

The William S Ziegler Leadership Award is an annual scholarship awarded to undergraduate students in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Alberta. The award recognizes students who demonstrate exceptional leadership skills and potential through their involvement in community and extracurricular activities. Recipients must maintain satisfactory academic standing while registered in the Faculty of Engineering. Preference is given to students who demonstrate financial need. The award is funded through an endowment established by the late Brigadier William S Ziegler. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship portal. No separate application is required beyond signing in and completing the General Application.
