William Wyse Bursary

The William Wyse Bursary is intended for students who wish to pursue either the MPhil in Social Anthropology or the MPhil in Social Anthropological Research at the University of Cambridge. The Bursary is tenable for the duration of the course and covers fees and maintenance at the minimum rate set by the Student Registry. Approximately 3 awards are available annually. To be considered for the William Wyse Bursary, applicants must have applied online via the University's Postgraduate Admissions Office for entry to either the MPhil in Social Anthropology or the MPhil in Social Anthropological Research by the 3rd of December 2025. The award is made on the basis of academic merit and is administered by the Department of Social Anthropology at Cambridge.
