About this opportunity
The Williams Engineering Award in Engineering is awarded to a student who identifies as female with a GPA of 3.0 or greater enrolled in the fourth year of a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering. The selection is based on academic standing and demonstrated leadership, community engagement, volunteerism and/or involvement in extracurricular activities. Preference is given to students who are a First Nation, Inuit, or Métis person of Canada in accordance with the Constitution Act, 1982, Part 2, Section 35(2). This award is provided through annual funds by Williams Engineering Canada Inc and is administered by the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Alberta.
