Windsor Leadership Trust Bursary

The Farmers Club Charitable Trust supports the Windsor Leadership Trust in delivering leadership development programmes for senior leaders in agriculture. The bursaries enable agricultural professionals to participate in residential leadership programmes at Windsor Castle and Cumberland Lodge. These programmes expose participants to leaders from diverse sectors including military, clergy, charities, business, and civil service. The programmes range from two to five days plus a two-day follow-up six months later, designed to develop resilience, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities. Participants engage in peer learning through syndicate groups and insights-based discussions rather than traditional lectures. The aim is to equip senior agricultural leaders to meet uncertainty with courage, resilience and insight, taking them beyond their normal sphere to develop as industry champions and future shapers of their organizations and the agricultural sector as a whole.
