About this opportunity
The WinField United Careers in Agriculture Scholarship is established by Land O'Lakes, Inc. to assist students who are pursuing a degree in or related to Agriculture. The scholarship provides $5,000 awards to current college undergraduates studying in the United States who are planning to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school. Applicants must be pursuing a degree related to agriculture and have interest in pursuing a career in the ag industry, and must have work experience related to their pursued degree. Up to four awards are granted annually. Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply each year they meet eligibility requirements. Awards are for undergraduate study only.

Review process
Scholarship recipients are selected based on academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of educational and career goals and objectives, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an online recommendation. Financial need is not considered. WinField United selects scholarship recipients from the pool of qualified finalists.
