Wisconsin Geological Society Scholarship

The Wisconsin Geological Society Scholarship supports students pursuing studies in geosciences at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. This scholarship is awarded to undergraduate or graduate students majoring in geosciences who demonstrate academic merit. Preference is given to students who have been active members of the Wisconsin Geological Society for at least one year. The award varies in amount up to $3,000 and is paid in the fall semester following the application period. Applications are accepted through February 1st each year, and students graduating in spring or summer are not eligible for the award. There is a single common application for geosciences students to complete in order to be considered for all geosciences scholarships and awards available through the department.
