Wisconsin Merit Scholarship

The Wisconsin Merit Scholarship was established by the 2017 Wisconsin Act 314 and provides merit-based financial support to incoming first-year students at University of Wisconsin institutions. This scholarship is specifically designed for students who have graduated from high school in Wisconsin and demonstrates academic excellence through standardized college entrance exam performance and high school grade point averages. The scholarship provides a $5,000 award to support incoming first-year students pursuing their undergraduate education at UW-Milwaukee.
