W.L. Britton Scholarship

The W.L. Britton Scholarship is designed to reward well rounded, contributing students who have the potential to become excellent lawyers as well as leaders in the profession and in the community. This scholarship is offered annually to a student entering second or third year in the Faculty of Law, JD program at the University of Calgary. The award recognizes students who demonstrate high academic standing (placed in the top third of their class) along with demonstrated teamwork and leadership qualities, as evidenced through participation in competitive sports and/or volunteerism conducted either within the community, working life or the university during the past five years. Applicants must submit a 500-word statement summarizing their teamwork and leadership qualities at the University, within the community or through sports participation.
