About this opportunity
The Wladyslaw Cieszynski English Fellowship for Prose is awarded to the best essay by a currently enrolled graduate student at the master's or doctoral level in the Department of English at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Students apply by uploading their essay, which must be free of any identifying information. The award is announced in the spring semester and paid in the following fall semester for awardees who remain enrolled at UWM that fall. The fellowship is made possible through the Estate of Jan F. Cieszynski and Estate of Renata M. Cieszynski.
