About this opportunity
The Women Healthcare Leaders scholarship is designed to support women committed to driving change in healthcare. Research confirms that women are the primary consumers of healthcare as well as the workforce, but they remain underrepresented in leadership roles. This scholarship aims to address this gap by providing financial support to women pursuing postgraduate degrees in healthcare management and related fields at UCL's Global Business School for Health.
Scholars will benefit from leadership coaching and high-impact leadership training as part of their scholarship, enhancing their ability to become effective leaders in the healthcare sector. The scholarship provides £10,000 to UK students and £15,000 to overseas students.
The scholarship is available for students starting in September 2026 and is open to applicants who identify as women and demonstrate academic excellence and exceptional leadership potential. Eligible programmes include Biotech and Pharmaceutical Management MSc, Digital Health and Entrepreneurship MSc, and three Global Healthcare Management MSc pathways (Analytics, Finance, and Leadership). Recipients are expected to participate in promotional activities as student ambassadors and alumni.
