Women in Economics and Finance PGT Scholarship

Queen Mary University of London Original Source

About This Opportunity

The School of Economics and Finance at Queen Mary University of London offers a Women in Economics and Finance Scholarship worth £5,000 for highly qualified postgraduate taught students. Access to education is one contributing factor leading to the underrepresentation of women in Economics and Finance. The objective of this programme is to help address this situation by providing opportunities for women globally to continue with their studies in Economics and Finance. The scholarship is available to self-funded international (overseas fee status) students who identify as women, have not previously studied at MSc degree level or higher in the UK, and who achieve a UK Upper Second-Class Honours or overseas equivalent. Recipients are expected to contribute to promoting post-graduate studies in Economics and Finance at QMUL and to engage other women and girls in Economics and Finance for a total of 30 hours during their studies. The scholarship is awarded automatically to eligible students and is deducted from tuition fees upon enrolment.
