Women in Finance Scholarship

The Women in Finance Scholarship was established in 2018 and is supported by annual donations from Pinnacle Investment Management Group Ltd and Plato Investment Management Ltd. The purpose of these scholarships is to encourage and assist female students to study finance and pursue careers in quantitative finance, fund management, or investment management. The scholarship provides $5,000 per year for up to two years to support female domestic students enrolled full-time at the University of Queensland in finance-related programs within the Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Economics, Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics (Honours), Bachelor of Advanced Business (Honours), or Bachelor of Mathematics with finance majors. Up to 10 scholarships are awarded annually. Selection is based on academic achievements, the strength of the personal statement, and other factors considered relevant to the applicant's future success. Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview.
