About This Opportunity

The Women in Mechanical Engineering Bursary supports female undergraduate mechanical engineering students at UniSC Moreton Bay. This bursary is offered annually through funds provided by an external donor to support women pursuing studies in mechanical engineering. One new equity bursary is awarded each year, with recipients receiving a lump sum payment of $2,500 after census date in Semester 2. The bursary is designed to support students facing financial need and those who work in paid employment or have commitments that impact their study time, such as compulsory fieldwork placement or significant carer responsibilities. Eligible students must be enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical)(Honours) at UniSC Moreton Bay campus, be full-time continuing undergraduates who have completed a minimum of 48 units (4 courses), and maintain a minimum GPA of 4.0. The scholarship is currently closed and will reopen on 1 April 2026 for Study Period 2 2026.
