Women in Technology & Trades Apprenticeship Scholarship

The Women in Technology & Trades Apprenticeship Scholarship supports female apprenticeship students at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT). This scholarship is available to women attending NAIT in the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of any apprenticeship program. Awards are made on the basis of top academic achievement. Apprenticeship students must submit an application to be considered for this award. Apprentices are only eligible for awards offered during the intake period in which they are registered for training. This scholarship aims to support and encourage women pursuing careers in traditionally male-dominated fields such as technology and skilled trades. The scholarship provides financial support to help offset the costs of apprenticeship training and education. Recipients are selected based on their demonstrated academic excellence during their apprenticeship program. This award is part of NAIT's broader commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion in technical and trades education, helping to remove barriers for women entering these career paths.
