World Changers RUK Access Bursary

University of Glasgow Original Source

About This Opportunity

The World Changers RUK Access Bursary supports talented students who may not be able to take their place at University for reasons of financial hardship. It is available to new entrant full-time undergraduate students of the University of Glasgow who are fully registered for the upcoming academic session, ordinarily domiciled in England, Wales or Northern Ireland and paying full annual tuition fees. The bursary provides financial support to UK Nationals who are normally resident in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and whose household income is verified as under the agreed threshold of £25,001. Students must be undertaking their first undergraduate degree. The bursary is paid in 10 installments from the end of October until the end of July, providing £3,000 in total support. There is no separate application required as eligibility is assessed using information provided in the student's application for fees and/or cost-of-living support to Student Finance England/Northern Ireland/Wales. Nursing students are not eligible, and if a student is required to repeat any year of study, the payment will not be awarded for that year.
