About This Opportunity

The University of St Andrews is delighted to announce the Worsfold Otago Scholarship. The purpose of the scholarship is to enable New Zealand graduates to undertake a one-year postgraduate taught Masters programme of study at the University of St Andrews. Two awards of £15,000 each are available annually. The award must be used towards tuition fees in the first instance. If funding for tuition fees has been secured through alternate means, all or part of the Worsfold Otago may be converted to maintenance in some circumstances. The scholarship is available for one-year taught Masters programmes (MLitt, MSc, MRes, MPP), one-year Masters research programmes (MSc (Res) and MSt (Res)), and two-year Masters research programmes with a taught element in the first year (MPhil (taught), MFA), though it only covers the first year of two-year programs. It is not available for doctoral degrees, postgraduate certificates or diplomas, or online programmes. Recipients are assessed on both financial need and academic merit.
