About this opportunity
The W.S. Rickert Graduate Fellowship in Science is valued at a minimum of $20,000 and is awarded annually to graduate students registered full-time in a master's or doctoral program who are conducting research in the areas of Nano-medicine, biotechnology, and biomedicine at the University of Waterloo. The fellowship supports students demonstrating strong academic achievement with a minimum 80% cumulative average in their current program. Selection is based on academic achievement combined with a review of research activity and academic merit as determined by the adjudicating committee in the Faculty of Science. The goal is to provide three to five awards annually, with the value and number potentially varying based on income generated by the fund each year. Additional funds available in the Trust Fund may be used to top-up awards to $25,000 each.
