WSU John Houstoun Memorial Scholarship

The WSU John Houstoun Memorial Scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate outstanding academic diligence and significant contribution to the student, cultural and sporting life at the University of Waikato. This scholarship is available for students across all subject areas and values $2,500 NZD. It is designed to support students in their second or subsequent year of study who have already completed at least 120 points of study at Waikato. The scholarship honors students who not only excel academically but also actively participate in and contribute to the broader university community through cultural activities and sports involvement. Applications are accepted annually with a closing date of 31 May 2025.
