Wuitchik Family Marine Sciences Graduate Scholarship

The Wuitchik Family Marine Sciences Graduate Scholarship provides support to graduate students from underrepresented minorities in the Faculty of Science at the University of Victoria who are researching marine sciences. Preference is given to students conducting marine sciences field work. The scholarship requires a letter of application (maximum 300 words) explaining the applicant's passion for marine sciences and the opportunities the award would enable them to pursue. If no applicants meet the marine sciences criteria, the scholarship may be awarded to students from underrepresented minorities in the Faculty of Science generally. A student may only receive this award once, and recipients are approved by the Faculty of Graduate Studies Graduate Awards Committee upon recommendation from the Faculty of Science.
