About This Opportunity

The Royal Physiographic Society in Lund awards travel grants four times per year from the Younger Researchers Travel Fund. These grants are intended for early career researchers in natural sciences, medicine, and technology who hold postdoctoral positions at Lund University or SLU/Alnarp. The grants support attendance at symposia or congresses, study visits to research institutions, short-term fieldwork, or comparable travels. Applicants must have obtained their doctorate within the last 5 years (with allowances for illness and parental leave) and should not yet hold permanent positions as lecturers or professors. Active participation through presentations or poster sessions is required for conference attendance. The grants prioritize travel for learning new techniques not available in Lund and for international activities. Travel within the Nordic region must be to international conferences. The program does not support courses or retrospective reimbursement for already completed travels.
