Yorkshire Bach Choir Choral Scholarship

The Yorkshire Bach Choir offers 12-month choral scholarships open to all four voice parts for students at the University of York. The scholarship provides financial support of £500 to enthusiastic and promising choral singers who can commit to all Yorkshire Bach Choir rehearsals and concerts. Scholars participate in the choir's full concert series and have the opportunity to sing in a wide range of choral repertoire. As part of the scholarship, singers may also have opportunities to perform challenging step-out solos, collaborating with the choir's conductor and the Yorkshire Baroque Soloists. Rehearsals take place mainly during University of York semester times on Friday evenings between 7pm-9:30pm at the Music buildings for approximately 30 weeks per year. This scholarship is available to undergraduate, postgraduate taught, and postgraduate research students from both the UK and international backgrounds, including EU students.
