Yorkshire Bach Choir Choral Scholarship

The Yorkshire Bach Choir Choral Scholarship is a 12-month scholarship scheme offered through the University of York's School of Arts and Creative Technologies. The scholarship is open to all four voice parts and provides funding of £500 paid in two instalments (December and June). Scholars benefit from performance opportunities as part of the choir's full concert series, singing a wide range of choral repertoire, and may have opportunities to take on challenging step-out solos collaborating with the conductor and the Yorkshire Baroque Soloists. Applicants should be enthusiastic and promising choral singers who can commit to all Yorkshire Bach Choir rehearsals and concerts. Rehearsals take place mainly during University of York semester times on Friday evenings between 7pm-9.30pm at the Music buildings, School of Creative Arts and Technologies, University of York, for approximately 30 weeks per year.
