About This Opportunity
The Young Agronomist Ag Tech Award was established in March 2022 by the Marwayne Ag Services/Six Strong Agronomy. This award is designed to support students enrolled full-time in the first year of the Bachelor of Agriculture Technology program at the Vermilion campus who have also completed their Agricultural Science diploma at Lakeland College. The scholarship provides $500 to recognize students who demonstrate academic achievement and focus on crop sciences. Applicants must be residents of Alberta or Saskatchewan and demonstrate leadership skills and community involvement, with 4-H involvement considered an asset. The award encourages the development of young agronomists pursuing agricultural technology education at Lakeland College.
