Young Futures Fund - Healthy Teen Minds

Asda Foundation Original Source

About This Opportunity

The Healthy Teen Minds programme provides support to community groups across the UK to help them deliver activities for teenagers which improve mental health and wellbeing and create positive life opportunities. Asda Foundation recognises the importance of supporting young people in our communities, with a particular focus on their mental health and wellbeing. This year, the Foundation is providing up to £600,000 of funding focused on supporting 'Healthy Teen Minds'. Grants of £500 to £1,000 are available to grassroots groups supporting teenagers' mental health and wellbeing. The programme welcomes applications supporting vulnerable, disadvantaged teenagers with projects that focus on offering emotional and mental health support such as counselling and therapy, providing essential items like hygiene supplies and clothing, driving awareness of key issues facing teenagers through educational workshops, rehabilitation and recovery support including addiction and youth homelessness reintegration, and activities and events that build connections and improve wellbeing and physical health. Funding priorities include groups promoting inclusivity and access to activities for individuals facing barriers to participation, and projects addressing prevalent social issues in their community such as knife crime, gangs, bullying, and personal safety.
