Younger Family Scholarship in Medicine

The Younger Family Scholarship in Medicine is offered annually to one student entering first year in the Cumming School of Medicine, MD program at the University of Calgary. The scholarship, valued at up to $3,000, is awarded based on the admission rating as determined by the Admissions Committee. Recipients must demonstrate leadership and involvement in campus or community extra-curricular activities such as cultural and athletic activities. This scholarship is an internal award made possible through the generous support of the Family of Dr. Andrew H. Younger. Students are selected through a nomination process managed by the Cumming School of Medicine.
