Yugo Accommodation Support Scholarship

The Yugo Accommodation Support Scholarship is designed for students who need to relocate to Melbourne to study at RMIT. It provides a rental subsidy worth up to $9,328 for accommodation at Yugo University Square. The scholarship is specifically for students from interstate or rural/regional areas within Australia who are commencing full-time study in a certificate IV, diploma, undergraduate degree or postgraduate by coursework program. The scholarship covers 44 weeks of accommodation in a bunk cabin within a 6-bed apartment at Yugo University Square, with the student responsible for a weekly contribution of $212 (total $9,328 student contribution). This scholarship aims to support students from disadvantaged backgrounds including those receiving government benefits, living with disabilities, experiencing personal difficulties, from under-represented backgrounds including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, refugees, and those from non-English speaking backgrounds.
