The Zarina Visnani Award in Islamic Studies is awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing entering any year or convocating from a Bachelor of Arts program at the University of Alberta. The recipient must have taken at least three units of course weight pertaining to Islamic Studies. Selection is based on academic standing. This award is funded by the Faculty of Arts in recognition of the Visnani Family's generosity towards the ECMC Chair in Islamic Studies and in memory of Zarina Visnani.
