About this opportunity
The Zenia Hawrysh Prize in Food Science is awarded annually to a student with superior academic achievement in the Bachelor of Science degree program in Nutrition and Food Science in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Alberta. The recipient will be the student who attains the highest academic standing in NU FS 481 (Advanced Foods). This prize recognizes academic excellence in food science coursework and encourages continued education in the field. Preference will be given to a student who is proceeding into graduate studies, with an emphasis on the quality aspects of food science including sensory, chemical, physical or instrumental analysis. Students are automatically considered based on their completed General Application, making the application process streamlined for eligible candidates.
