About This Opportunity
This endowment fund was established by the Saskatchewan Archaeological Society (SAS) through the generosity of multiple donors in the name of the late Dr. Zenon Pohorecky – an academic, activist, artist, and archaeologist. The annual bursary is awarded to eligible students in 2nd year or later enrolled in University of Saskatchewan Archaeology, Anthropology or Indigenous Studies programs, or First Nations University of Canada Indigenous Fine Arts, Indigenous Education, Indigenous Languages or Indigenous Studies programs. The selected recipient must have a 70%+ average and will receive $1,000. This bursary supports students pursuing studies in archaeology, anthropology, and indigenous studies fields at Saskatchewan institutions.
