Zoetis Award for Excellence in Equine Practice

The Zoetis Award for Excellence in Equine Practice is an annual award presented to a graduating student in veterinary medicine at the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the University of Prince Edward Island. This award recognizes outstanding proficiency in equine practice, including ambulatory, internal medicine, and/or surgery, as well as demonstrated concern for patient welfare. The award provides $1,000 to a fourth-year veterinary medicine student who has shown exceptional skills and dedication in working with horses and equine health throughout their veterinary education.
