Zonta Club of Charlottetown - Mona G. Wilson Memorial Award

The Zonta Club of Charlottetown - Mona G. Wilson Memorial Award is awarded to a student who has completed second year in the Faculty of Nursing with the highest achievement in Nursing 213 (Nursing in Young Families). This award is equally merited among eligible students. Zonta International is a worldwide service organization of executives in business and the professions working together to advance the legal, political, economic, health, and professional status of women. The Zonta Club came to Charlottetown through a friendship between Mona G. Wilson, Director of Public Health Nursing for PEI, and Helen Cleveland of Toronto, a past-president of Zonta International. The Zonta Club of Charlottetown has contributed to a variety of local service initiatives over the years including the establishing of student awards at UPEI.
