Zonta Club of Noosa Equity Bursary

The Zonta Club of Noosa Equity Bursary is awarded to a female student at the University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC) to support women's education and advancement. Zonta International is a global organisation of professionals working to advance women's rights through service and advocacy, and the Zonta Club of Noosa works to build a better world for women and girls through this equity bursary. The bursary provides financial assistance to full-time female undergraduate students enrolled at UniSC Sunshine Coast Campus who demonstrate financial need and academic merit. Applicants must have successfully completed a minimum of 8 courses (96 units) at UniSC with a minimum GPA of 4.0. Selection is based on financial need, hours worked in paid employment or commitment to activities that impact study time (such as compulsory work placements or significant carer responsibilities), and academic merit. The bursary is valued at $2,500 AUD and one award is available annually. Please note that this bursary is offered on a yearly basis through funds provided by an external donor, and if funding is not available in any given year, the bursary will not be awarded. Bursary payments are made approximately three weeks after Census Date once enrollment has been confirmed.
