About this opportunity

The Advocacy Project Peace Fellowships are volunteer positions for students (high school, undergraduate, and graduate) to work with community-based partners in Nepal, Vietnam, Uganda, and Kenya. Fellowships last between six weeks and three months, available from May 1 to December 31. Graduate Fellows are deployed to the field to profile partner work through blogs, video, photos, embroidery and social media, while also helping hosts implement projects, raise funds, ensure monitoring, and develop international contacts. Undergraduate and high school Fellows contribute remotely based on their skills and partner needs. Fellows give AP an opportunity to work alongside partners during ten weeks of the year in the absence of field offices. All Fellows receive training in Washington DC in mid-May and are expected to produce regular blogs, photos, and social media content to support partner organizations working on social justice and social change initiatives.
