About this opportunity

The Indigenous Allied Health Scholarship has been developed to encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to pursue studies within the School of Allied Health at Curtin University. The scholarship aims to increase Indigenous participation in Allied Health professions by supporting students from the beginning of their educational journey through to the successful completion of their degree. The Scholarship will provide support for the normal expected duration of the degree (based on a full-time study load of 100 credits per semester) in the form of a cash stipend that can be used at the recipient's discretion to contribute towards education-related expenses. Eligible courses include undergraduate programs such as Bachelor of Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Exercise and Sport Science, and Health Sciences, as well as postgraduate programs including Master of Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Clinical Physiotherapy, and Clinical Exercise Physiology. Recipients must maintain enrollment in their initial course of study, maintain a minimum enrollment of at least 50 credit points each study period, and maintain a course weighted average of at least 50 each study period.
