About this opportunity

The British Council Scholarship for Women in STEM is a fully funded scholarship program offered by Brunel University London in partnership with the British Council. It provides five scholarships for female students from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka pursuing postgraduate studies in STEM fields. The program seeks women with a background in STEM who can demonstrate financial need and who wish to inspire future generations of women to pursue careers in STEM. The scholarship covers comprehensive support including tuition fees, monthly stipend for up to 12 months, return economy-class travel, IELTS exam fee, visa and insurance costs, and child allowance where applicable. Recipients must be motivated to contribute to capacity-building and socio-economic advancement in their home country after graduation and demonstrate a plan to engage other women and girls in STEM from their home country.
