About this opportunity
The University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) provides a partial bursary to Master of Studies in Sustainability Leadership students to improve access and enhance diversity and inclusivity. This funding aims to provide support to students who may otherwise be prevented from taking the opportunity to develop real leadership confidence and skills in responding effectively to economic, social and environmental challenges facing the world. The bursary is available to applicants to both the continuous route and stage 3 of the flexible route of the MSt program. Recipients will be selected with a particular focus on candidates from disadvantaged backgrounds, including UK citizens from ethnic minorities, citizens from DAC list ODA recipient countries, refugees or asylum seekers, carers, care-leavers, individuals with disabilities, and those demonstrating financial need. The bursary provides up to £17,340 toward tuition fees for both home and international students. Applicants must first be accepted through the standard admissions process and then submit a separate bursary application form outlining financial barriers, other funding sources investigated, factors relating to under-representation or disadvantage, how their background could contribute to diversity of perspective, and anticipated impact from the program.
