About This Opportunity

The Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) is a federal financial aid program designed to assist undergraduate students with exceptional financial need. The program is administered directly by the financial aid office at each participating school and is intended to supplement other forms of financial aid. To receive an FSEOG, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form so their institution can determine their level of financial need. The grant is available to full-time, Pell-eligible students who demonstrate extreme financial need. At Greenville University, the FSEOG provides awards up to $500 per year and is available to both freshman and transfer students. The University has a preferred FAFSA filing deadline of December 1, though students are encouraged to file as soon as possible after October 1 for the best benefit consideration.
