About This Opportunity
The Swedish Society for Dermatology and Venereology (SSDV) research scholarship has been established with support from Novartis Sverige AB to support Swedish research in chronic inflammatory skin diseases. The scholarship is awarded in connection with SSDV's spring meeting, where the recipient is encouraged to give a short presentation about their research project. The scholarship of 100,000 Swedish kronor is intended for SSDV members working on research projects aimed at improved care and treatment or increased understanding of chronic inflammatory skin diseases. The scholarship is not intended for financing travel to conferences or similar activities.

Review process
Applications are reviewed by a decision committee consisting of Lena Lundeberg (SSDV's chairperson) and 3-4 research-merited specialists. Decisions are made by February 25th, and after the decision, Novartis will receive the selected application.
