SSDV Vårmöte 2026 - Posterpriser

Svenska Sällskapet för Dermatologi och Venereologi (SSDV)

SSDV (Swedish Society for Dermatology and Venereology) is offering poster prizes at their 2026 Spring Meeting to be held in Uddevalla, May 20-22. Two prizes of 5,000 SEK each will be awarded for the best posters - one selected by a judging committee and one voted on by meeting participants. Additionally, up to six accepted abstracts will receive full conference registration fee coverage (for early bird registration by March 31, 2026). The opportunity is open to researchers presenting new data from clinical or experimental dermatovenereological research. Participants submit abstracts with original research findings, which are reviewed by SSDV's interest group for research and basic education. The abstract submission deadline is January 23, 2026, with acceptance notifications by February 9, 2026.

Forskningsstipendium inom kroniska inflammatoriska hudsjukdomar

The Swedish Society for Dermatology and Venereology (SSDV) research scholarship has been established with support from Novartis Sverige AB to support Swedish research in chronic inflammatory skin diseases. The scholarship is awarded in connection with SSDV's spring meeting, where the recipient is encouraged to give a short presentation about their research project. The scholarship of 100,000 Swedish kronor is intended for SSDV members working on research projects aimed at improved care and treatment or increased understanding of chronic inflammatory skin diseases. The scholarship is not intended for financing travel to conferences or similar activities.

The Swedish Society for Dermatology and Venereology (SSDV) offers a professional development scholarship to support Swedish dermatologists and venereologists in their continuing education. The scholarship finances study visits to centers of excellence or enables special training programs with the goal of allowing recipients to implement new techniques, diagnostic methods, or treatments at their home clinic. Funds can be used to cover travel, accommodation, and course fees, but not salary or personal expenses. The scholarship is not intended for conference attendance. Diagnostiskt Centrum Hud

Diagnostiskt Centrum Hud utlyser åter två stipendier à 25000 SEK avsedda att stimulera till vidareutbildning för ST-läkare eller nybliven specialist (mindre än 1 år efter specialistexamen vid tidpunkten för ansökan) inom dermatovenereologi. Stipendiet kan användas för en kurs, studieresa eller auskultation och ska leda till att läkaren kan utvecklas vidare, antingen bredda eller fördjupa sin kompetens. Sökanden ska vara medlemmar i Svenska Sällskapet för Dermatologi och Venereologi (SSDV). Det kan vara inom så vitt skilda kompetensområden som hudkirurgi, ledarskap, systemsjukdomar, dermatoskopi, etc. Stipendiet ger stöd för aktiviteter som leder till kompetensutveckling inom specialiteten.

SSDV:s pedagogiska pris (SSDV's Pedagogical Prize) is an annual award presented by the Swedish Society for Dermatology and Venereology (SSDV) to recognize excellence in teaching and education within the field of dermatology and venereology. The prize acknowledges individuals who have made outstanding contributions to medical education in these specialties. Nominations are accepted annually with a deadline at the end of January, and the award decision is made by SSDV's board. The diploma is presented at SSDV's annual meeting during the spring meeting (Vårmötet). The prize has been awarded since 2010 with a few years of hiatus between 2013-2015, and has recognized distinguished educators from various Swedish cities including Stockholm, Göteborg, Helsingborg, Örebro, and others.

Svenska sällskapet för dermatologi och venereologi (SSDV)

SSDV (Swedish Society for Dermatology and Venereology) offers a grant to support Swedish dermatology specialists who plan to take the European Union examination in dermatology and venereology. The examination is organized by UEMS-EBDV Board of examination and takes place on September 25, 2026. The examination fee is €550, and SSDV provides funding to encourage increased participation from Sweden. The grant is available to SSDV members to help cover the registration fee for 2026. The payment is disbursed after the examination has been completed, regardless of whether the exam is passed or not. Applicants must submit proof of completed examination and a screenshot of the Swedish amount paid for the registration fee to SSDV's office.
