About this opportunity

The National STEM Education Distributed Learning (NSDL) program aims to establish a national network of learning environments and resources for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education at all levels. The program supports four tracks: Pathways projects provide stewardship for content and services needed by major communities of learners; Pathways-II projects ensure expansion and stability of original Pathways efforts; Services projects develop tools and applications that enhance the impact, efficiency, and value of the NSDL network for users and resource collection providers; and Targeted Research projects investigate the educational impact of networked digital resources on education and learning. The program seeks to create value-added resources and services that enable discovery, collaborative selection, organization, and effective usage of quality learning and teaching resources appropriate for educators and learners at all levels, promoting interoperability and reusability of learning objects across traditional STEM disciplinary boundaries.
