About this opportunity

The Princeton in Africa Fellowship is a one-year professional development program that places young professionals at African organizations working in various development sectors. The fellowship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in international development on the African continent while receiving support from Princeton in Africa staff, alumni, and fellow participants. Fellows work with host organizations across Africa in diverse roles and locations, from urban centers to rural areas. The program offers two tracks: the General Fellowship Program for graduates of U.S.-accredited universities, and the Nexus Program for graduates of African universities who are African citizens and residents. The fellowship is 12 months long and includes comprehensive support including housing, living stipend, medical insurance, and participation in a mid-year retreat. This experience serves as an entry point into the field of development work in Africa and provides access to a growing community of passionate alumni.
