About this opportunity
The School of Medicine and Psychology in the ANU College of Health and Medicine is offering a one-off award to support a PhD research program exploring the topic of health and homelessness in Australia. Funding for this Award has been provided by the John James Foundation and the Snow Foundation. The objective of the Award is to support an outstanding domestic candidate to enable them to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy program in MEDI9910 or PSYC9723, based in the School of Medicine and Psychology on the topic of health and homelessness in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). The scholarship provides a stipend of $42,000 per annum paid fortnightly for 3.5 years, with the possibility of a 6-month extension. Recipients also receive paid leave entitlements including 20 working days recreation leave, 10 working days medical leave, and an additional 60 working days for medical/carers/parental leave, as well as thesis reimbursement capped at $500 and travel and removal reimbursement capped at $1,000.
