About This Opportunity
The Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research (SSF) has allocated a total of 44 million SEK for the SSF Sabbatical 2025 program. Each researcher can receive up to three million SEK during the period 2026 to 2029. The program provides researchers with the opportunity to take a sabbatical leave from six months up to two years for research abroad. The research can be within the researcher's current area, or within another discipline or sector, but only within SSF's priority areas: natural sciences, technology, or medicine. The purpose of the call is to give researchers the opportunity to broaden their horizons within science and/or the utilization of research. Research must be conducted at a university, industry, hospital clinic, major research infrastructure, or research institute abroad.
